Hi everyone, I’m Nick. I’m the lead web developer for the Orbital MRD project at Lincoln (working in CERD), which aims to produce an amazing institution-wide system for managing research data, along with associated training and policies.
Previously I worked for the Online Services team in ICT, producing many of the student and staff-facing websites which people at the University interact with on a daily basis. During this time I also advocated for the user (particularly student) experience, was a vocal supporter of various cutting edge technologies, and annoyed a few people. I graduated from the University of Lincoln with a BSc (Hons) Computing and Cybernetics. In other related things I was a student rep for my three years at Lincoln, and I was an ambassador for the Student As Producer project.
